Good shopping experience, clean shops, well lighter hallways, great places to grab something to eat while you are shopping and shops where you can entertain all age kids.

Great parking all around and convenient access to the stores. Escalator, stairs and elevator available to go up and down stairs. We have been to See's Candy, JCPenney's, Kohl's, Torrids, Baskin Robins, Hallmark and Kitten-Kabootle. All good friendly service and will be back again.

I would like to see malls make a comeback! Lots of room for improvement here. But, still got some of the classic mall shops tho! Maybe some lower price food options?

I’ve been very impressed with how many improvements they’ve made to the Downtown mall many new businesses have moved in and there’s been more events for the local community highlighting a lot of our local vendors, including foods, crafts, and other handmade goods there’s been a whole new life brought back to the Salem center

I went there on Monday, March 2, 2026 in the afternoon. It was great to still see people walking around the Salem Center Mall, and buying food!! Many more people were shopping at Kohl's. But since Kohl's is connected to the Sakem Center, people also walked into the Mall area :)

I would say it is a small mall with not to many retails. It is clean and has many displays but there were not to many foot traffic when I visited. Love the huge parking lot and its location is near the city center

Awesome to still have an old-school mall operating in Salem!!! It really took me back sitting on the sky bridge eating an auntie anns pretzel original with salt and cheese sauce of course.

Its indoor. I bought some nice shoes for 17.00 at Ross. The customer service was great. It also has a food section. I took a picture for some gals, for them. I felt safe shopping.

Salem Center is not what it used to be, but still a great shopping option at the center of the city. It is a bit dated, but that does not matter as the selection of stores is actually pretty good. It was clean and not very busy, but I was there midday mid week. Parking is not ideal, but manageable. The quickest option was yes inexpensive paid parking on the street next to the mall..
